Lets go to 400 years back 

Europe 1622 

Imagine the world of that time  There was no democracy, no nation only Kingdoms. No industry, no media, no petrol diesel. Their small village was their small world.  Society was based on an imagined order of God. King was supreme authority and n son of King used to become King coz God chose him.  

Priest was supreme religious authority n only his son used to become Priest coz God chose him n other people were happy coz they used to believe its God decision n there was no revolt. It used to be called doctrine of divine order

And then started intellectual movement in Europe n credit goes to philosophers n scientist born in that era during 1600 - 1750. Earlier people used to believe, earth is center n sun revolves around it coz it was written in Bible. But Gallio said in 1615 that it’s wrong actually Sun in center and earth rotates around it. French philosopher Rene Descartes said in 1637 "cogito, ergo sum" ("I think, therefore I am") n people started to think, started to ask question.

Newton gave its equation and concept of Gravity in 1687.  So in that era, lot of intellectual things happened n people started to question "Doctrine of divine right of God"  

European Society was divided in 3 parts that time

1. Nobility - King n members of royal court

2. Clergy - Priest

3. Peasant - Farmers n others

There was no equality . While Nobility n clergy used to be considered privilege class, Peasant used to be considered lower class.  

Now Lets move to France.

During 1756 - 1763 a war happened between Britain n France that destroyed economy of France In 1774 - King Louis 16 became new king of France. At that time all Peasant class had to give a religious tax to clergy and a nobility tax to nobility.

In 1776 : America that was controlled by British, declared war against British n got independence. France helped America in it. It further destroyed economy of France.

In 1776 - a secret society Illu mina ti was formed in Germany that was funded by wealthy Capitalist n used to have liberal views.

In 1778, one more war happened between France and Britain that lasted for 5 years. By 1783, France economy was destroyed by wars and famine. Common public was dying due to hunger n that time King Louise decided to build one new Royal place for him at Versailles. Queen was hedonist and extravagancy. King imposed more tax on Peasant Class. Now angry peasant class started to oppose King and demanded equal rights as Nobility n Clergy enjoying and a new system.  

They started revolution. Revolutionary were called Liberals or Radicals . Other side Nobility n Clergy wanted to continue same old system. They said that this differentiation was made by God n it sud not be challenged. They were called traditionalist or Conservatives.  Peasants that were poor but they were more than 90% started revolution against King, Nobility n Clergy. When French revolution intensified, King called a general assembly n invited all 3 section in 1789.  

By 1788, total state debt of France had increased to an unprecedented 4.5 billion livres. 

People were facing huge inflation n were dying from starvation.  In May 1789, King summoned Estates-General n called all 3 class . Nobility, Clergy and Peasant all three were provided power of 1 vote each to make decisions. Nobility n Clergy were 5% while Peasant 95% but still all get equal power. Nobility n Clergy who used to believe in conservative ideology used to sit in Right side of King and Peasant who used to believe in liberal ideology used to sit in left side of King . So conservatives were called right conservative and liberals were called left liberal and this addressing is still applicable in all over the world.

Whenever there used to be some imp decision was needed to taken, Nobility n Clergy get united n Peasants started to feel cheated .

So on 17th 1789, Peasant declared their separate assemble in a nearby tennis court. It’s called Tennis court declaration n that assembly was called National Assembly.

14th July 1789

Illuminati guys spread rumour that King will overthrow their national assembly and with this French revolution started. French farmer n working class started revolution against King Nobility n Church

28th Aug 1789 - Peasants created a separate constitution for France n declared France as democracy n abolished Monarchy but King refused to sign that constitution . 

5th Oct 1789 - Women of France started revolt against King .Thousands of women carried a march and surrounded the Kings Palace .Huge bloodshed started in France .People of France declared war against King n his loyalist. This bloodshed kept going for 2 years. 

1792- Revolutionary took control of French Kingdom. Monarchy was abolished and France was declared Republic Democracy.  King and Queen were arrested and publicly executed.  

Lot of nobility n clergy were killed. Many left France n left to nearby Kingdoms. Though This democracy cud not sustain for long time and in 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte took control of France and declared himself emperor of France and France again became monarchy, but still this French revolution is one of the most important event of History. First time, public revolt against their own King n social class n converted from Monarchy to democracy n its considered classic case study for all those who r fighting for democracy.

French revolution inspired people of other kingdoms n in next 150 years, Entire Europe got ride from Monarchy and adopted democracy. 

This revolution was fought on 3 principles : 

Liberty 

Equality 

Fraternity 

and its still called three golden words of democracy. Idea of Freedom of expression, human rights all started from this revolution

Now big question

Can the concept of liberals n conservatives of France be applied universally coz the root cause of this idea was social inequality in European class among Nobility, Clergy and Peasant.

But what about those societies who don't have this social classification Like Muslim countries  

Muslim never accepted this concept of liberal and conservative.   They always said that their is no inequality in their traditional system so in Islam there is no need to move from conservative to liberal as Christian society did. But surprisingly Hindus led by Gandhi, Nehru accepted this western concept.

British introduced the western concept as 

Nobility - Kshatriya 

Clergy - Brahmin 

Peasant - Shudra

This comparison was completely stupid coz Indian social classification was not based on supremacy but on cohesiveness.  In Indian system dharma was supreme so Western concept of liberal n conservative was not at all applicable here but first British misguided Hindus n then Congress .

And Hindus left their fantastic conservative ideology n adopted Western Liberal ideology n that was biggest blunder.
